BLP – San Ignacio
Steven, Brad and Tony went to see the Bullet Tree playground that the Rotary built two years ago. It was a great afternoon visiting with members of the community playground committee and participating in the family afternoon activities.  What a great success story, over 100 family members there bar b cueing, playing volleyball and soccer, and food and drink. The high school kids had a volleyball tournament happening with teams from other communities.
They have added a light so the playground is used most evenings as well. They are working on upgrades such as adding fences. They are very proud of the community culture the playground has brought to Bullet Tree. We were told people bring their children to the playground from other communities because of the organized activities there.
Aki and Sheree joined us for dinner with Eve and Chris Arid, more great discussions about the BLP.

Warm greetings from Bullet Tree Falls, I hope that you are having a splendid Wednesday afternoon!  It was truly a pleasure meeting you guys on Sunday and great knowing how interested everyone is in supporting our group K.I.S.S.  (Keep Instilling a Sensible Society). After exchanging words with you guys the other day, I reported back to the group members and everyone has been so overwhelmed in knowing that we will be receiving the support from you community. As per our conversation, I will be sending couple pictures for everyone to see how the community has been working together with us in order to obtain our goals and objectives.  As stated on the article on Amandala which I provided, we have been having weekly sporting events taking place at Bullet Tree Central Park in order to get funding for the fencing, placement of lights and beautification of the entire surrounding so it becomes more welcoming to everyone.

However, as you could have observed Sunday, we are in need of a permanent shelter for the daily sales that regularly take place are in need of sporting equipments for the youths doing sporting activities such as Soccer and Volleyball.  An amplifier for the supply of music is also very essential since we regularly have to be paying rental and at times it comes out quite expensive on our end.  As you may know Music is something that keeps the crowd happy.  If for any reason there is someone from your community who is getting rid of any of these stuff hopefully they can keep us in mind since they will surely come in handy for us.  Not forgetting also our little library lack internet connectivity and any assistance on your behalf will be greatly appreciated.

Please find attached few pictures for now I will be sending you couple others as we keep close communication.  Please don't hesitate to contact me directly at this e-mail address or at my cell number 011-501-667-0029.

Enjoy the rest of your evening and I do hope to hear back from you soon!
